Contents of 1905 cornerstone of the "Rock Chapel" (Church of Our Saviour) [manuscript], 1905.

The collection contains the tin biscuit box in which the items were placed; a 1905 penny; a list of Sunday School members; a manuscript history of the church; a program from the laying of the cornerstone under the auspices of Widow's Sons' Lodge, no. 60; and a copy of the Daily Progress for May 4, 1905, with feature articles on the laying of the Cornerstone and the funeral of General Fitzhugh Lee. Names noted in the history as early founders and contributors include T. W. Dexter, Miss Mary Walker Dexter, Major Channing M. Bolton, Captain H. Clay Michie, John B. Moon and Paul Goodloe McIntire.
